Gutter Installation and Repair in Nicoma Park

We hang new gutters formed on site in one-piece runs, fix the ones that sag or leak, and check the roof edge behind them. The people who measure your home are the same people who install the gutters and clean up after. You'll know what's planned before we set a ladder.

Gutters Are Part of the Roof

Gutters have one job. They catch what runs off your roof and send it away from your walls and foundation. When they sag, clog or pull loose, water spills where it shouldn't. It soaks the fascia, rots the bottom edge of the roof deck, and pools against the slab.

That's why we treat gutters as roof work, not a side job. We bring 30+ years of roofing experience to every gutter install, so we look at the drip edge, the fascia board and the last row of shingles before anything goes up. If the wood behind an old gutter is soft, you'll hear about it and see a photo before we quote.

Our crew is small on purpose. The person who walks your roofline and takes measurements is on the ladder on install day, and that same person walks the job with you when it's done.

What Our Gutter Work Covers

  1. 01

    One-piece runs formed to length

We form each section on site to fit your roofline, so there are no joints along the straight runs to leak. Seams only happen at corners, and those get sealed and riveted.

  2. 02

    Correct pitch toward the downspouts

A gutter that looks level holds water. We set a slight fall toward each outlet so it drains clean and doesn't sit full of standing water and mosquitoes.

  3. 03

Downspouts that discharge away from the slab

We place downspouts where the water can actually go somewhere, and add extensions or splash blocks so it lands away from the foundation instead of at it.

  4. 04

    Fascia and drip edge check

Before new gutters go on, we check the board they hang from. Rotted fascia gets replaced first, because a new gutter on soft wood will pull loose again.

  5. 05

    Repairs on gutters worth keeping

Not every system needs replacing. We reset loose hangers, reseal leaking corners, fix sagging runs and replace damaged sections when the rest is sound.

  6. 06

    Removal and haul-off

Old gutters, hangers and scrap leave with us. We pick up screws and rivets from the beds and the driveway before we go.

Signs Your Gutters Need Attention

  • Water pouring over the lip

Overflow in an ordinary rain points to one of three causes: a clog, a gutter too small for the roof above it, or a run that slopes away from its downspout. We figure out which one it is before we suggest any work.

  • Sagging or pulling away from the house

A run that dips or leans out usually means failed hangers or rotting fascia. Left alone, it can tear off in the next hard storm or under winter ice.

  • Drips at corners and joints

Steady drips from seams mean the sealant has given up. That water runs down your siding and soaks the trim every time it rains.

  • Washed-out soil or stains under the eaves

Trenches in the flower bed, splashed dirt on the siding or dark streaks on the brick show where water lands. That's water your gutters should be carrying away.

  • Dents and bends after hail

Oklahoma hail dents gutters and downspouts as easily as it bruises shingles. Crushed downspouts drain slowly, and the roof above may need a look too.

How a Gutter Job Goes

  1. 1

We walk the roofline with you

We look at the gutters, the fascia, the downspouts and where the water ends up. We measure every run and take photos of anything that worries us.

  2. 2

    You get a written scope

The estimate lists what we'll replace, what we'll repair and any wood that needs work. If repair makes more sense than new gutters, we tell you that.

  3. 3

    Install day

Most homes take a day or less. We take down the old system, fix the fascia if needed, form the new gutters on site, then hang them on hidden hangers spaced to carry weight.

  4. 4

    Water test and walk-through

We run a hose in each gutter to check the flow at every downspout. Then we walk the job with you and clean up before we leave.

What Moves the Price

Gutter pricing comes down to how much you need and what we find behind the old system. We put every line in writing so you can see where the money goes. You get your quote by phone after the visit, or in person before we leave.

Length and number of corners
Total feet of gutter matters most. Each inside and outside corner adds material and labor, so a home with lots of angles costs more than a simple rectangle.
Gutter size and material
Larger gutters and downspouts handle heavy spring downpours better but cost more. We'll tell you what your roof's size and pitch actually call for.
Fascia condition
If the board behind your gutters is rotted, it has to be replaced before anything new goes up. We can't price that until we see it, but you'll see it in the photos.
Height and access
Two-story eaves, steep slopes and tight side yards take more setup time and care with ladders.

Gutter Questions We Hear

My gutters leak in a couple of spots. Do I need all new ones?

Not always. When the metal is straight and solid and the trouble comes down to a few loose hangers or corners that drip, fixing those spots usually costs less and works fine. Dented, rusted-through or sagging runs along most of the house are a different story, and new gutters make more sense there. We'll show you photos and tell you what we'd do on our own house.

Do you install gutter guards?

We'll talk through whether guards make sense for your home when we visit. Homes under big trees can benefit, while others do fine with regular cleaning. We'd rather tell you that than add something you don't need.

Can you replace gutters without touching my roof?

Usually, yes. The gutters hang on the fascia, below the drip edge. If we find the drip edge is missing or the bottom shingles are damaged, we'll show you and explain your options, which might mean a roof repair at the edge.

Is the gutter work covered by a warranty?

We'll go over what coverage applies when we write your estimate. If something we installed isn't right, call us and we'll come back and take a look.

Who does the work on my house?

Our own small crew. The same people stay on your job from the first measurement through cleanup. You won't meet a new face on install day.
