Roof Replacement in Nicoma Park
When your roof is past fixing, we tear it off down to the deck and build it back right. The same few people who look at your roof are the ones who replace it, so nothing gets lost between the estimate and the last nail.
When a New Roof Is the Right Call
Patching is the smart move when the trouble is limited to a small area and the shingles around it still have plenty of life. A new roof is the better move when wear shows up on every slope, the leaks keep moving, or hail has bruised the whole thing. We will tell you which one you have, and if a fix will hold, we will say so and point you to our roof repair work instead.
We are a small crew. The person who climbs up for the estimate is on the roof during tear-off and is there for the final walk-around. Our team brings 30+ years of roofing experience.

What a New Roof From Us Includes
- 01
Stripped to the deck
Old shingles and underlayment come off until bare decking shows. Stacking new shingles on old ones adds weight and covers up trouble, so we begin from scratch.
- 02
Decking inspected and fixed
With the deck exposed, we walk it and mark any soft or rotted boards. You see photos of what we found before any of it gets replaced.
- 03
Underlayment and ice and water barrier
The full deck gets synthetic underlayment. We add ice and water barrier in the valleys and along the eaves, where winter ice can push water under the bottom shingles.
- 04
New flashing, vents and boots
We put in new flashing at chimneys and walls instead of reusing the old metal. Fresh pipe boots and ridge or box vents let the attic breathe, so summer heat doesn't bake the shingles from underneath.
- 05
Shingles and new drip edge
Shingles go down using the nailing pattern the manufacturer calls for, and new drip edge finishes the edges. Curious about impact-resistant shingles? We'll explain how they stack up.
- 06
Haul-off and nail sweep
Torn-off roofing goes right into a dumpster or trailer. Before we leave, a magnet runs over the lawn, driveway and beds to catch loose nails.
Questions about Roof Replacement?
Call(572) 232-5459Signs Your Roof Needs Replacing
Grit piling up at the downspouts
The sandy surface on asphalt shingles wears off over the years. When you find a lot of it in the gutters or washed out below the downspouts, the shingles underneath are getting thin.
Curled or cracked shingles
Edges that cup up or tabs that crack across the roof point to a roof at the end of its life, not one bad spot.
Leaks in more than one place
One leak can be fixed. Stains showing up in different rooms, season after season, usually mean the whole roof is failing.
A sagging roofline
A dip between rafters often means wet, weak decking. That needs to come off and be replaced, and a new roof is the time to do it.
Hail bruising on every slope
Spring hail can crack the mat under the surface even when shingles look fine from the ground. If it hit every side, a roof inspection will tell you whether patching is worth it.
How a Replacement Job Runs
- 1
Look and measure
We get on the roof, check the attic if we can, and measure every slope. You get a written estimate that lists each part of the job line by line.
- 2
Pick materials and set a date
We go over shingle types and colors with you. If your city requires a permit, we pull it before we start.
- 3
Tear-off and dry-in
Most homes are torn off and covered with underlayment the same day, so your home is never left open. We tarp beds and cover the attic access where needed.
- 4
Build the new roof
Flashing, vents, shingles and ridge cap go on. The same people are up there every day, so the work stays consistent from one slope to the next.
- 5
Walk-through and cleanup
We sweep the yard with a magnet and walk the job with you. You get all the paperwork for your new roof before we leave.
What Sets the Cost of Your Replacement
We price your roof after we measure it and look at what sits under the shingles. Each part of the job goes on a written estimate. If tear-off turns up bad decking or another surprise, we show you before doing the extra work.
- Size and pitch
- More square feet means more material and labor. Steep roofs take longer and need more safety gear, which adds time.
- Condition of the decking
- We cannot see every board until tear-off. Rotted or soft sections get replaced, and that is priced per sheet.
- The shingle you pick
- Hail-rated shingles carry a higher price than a basic architectural line. Before you settle on one, it can pay to ask your insurance agent if a hail-rated roof would lower what you pay for coverage.
- Layers to remove
- A roof with two layers of old shingles takes more labor and more dumpster space to strip.
- Chimneys, valleys and skylights
- Every extra detail needs its own flashing work. A simple gable roof goes faster than one with lots of breaks.
Roof Replacement Questions
How long does a roof replacement take?
Most single-story homes take one to three working days, depending on size and weather. We do not tear off more than we can dry in that day. If rain is coming, we wait.
Will the same people be on my roof the whole time?
Yes. We are a small crew and we do not hand jobs off to a rotating group. The person you talk to at the estimate will be on site through the final walk-through.
Can you put new shingles over my old ones?
We strip the old roof instead. Going over old shingles hides rotted decking and worn flashing, and it can shorten the life of the new roof. A clean tear-off lets us see and fix what is underneath.
Do I have to stay home while you work?
No. It helps to catch you for a few minutes when we arrive and again when we wrap up. Please keep pets indoors and park cars away from the driveway, because old shingles and nails will be coming down.
What warranty comes with a new roof?
Our work is covered by a 10-year workmanship warranty. The shingles also carry the manufacturer's own warranty, and we will give you the paperwork for both.
Do you work outside Nicoma Park?
Yes. We replace roofs in Choctaw, Midwest City, Harrah and other towns nearby. Our Service Areas page lists where we go.
