Roofing in Nicoma Park and the Towns Around It

We're based in Nicoma Park and work on homes across the east side of the Oklahoma City metro and a bit beyond. Wherever your home is, the same few people who look at your roof are the ones who come back to do the work.

Our Working Area

Most of the roofs we work on are nearby: Nicoma Park, Choctaw, Harrah, Midwest City, Del City, Spencer and Jones. We can reach any of them in a few minutes, so dropping by to look, returning with the right materials and checking back after the job is easy. Roof replacement, roof repair, roof inspections, storm damage repair and gutters are all available in each town.

We also drive farther for jobs in McLoud, Edmond, Nichols Hills and Norman. A longer drive doesn't mean a different crew. Distant jobs aren't passed to another outfit, and no roof gets split between teams. If you're unsure whether your street is on our list, ask us on the phone and you'll get a plain answer.

What Roofs Deal With Around Here

Hail and spring storms
Spring brings hail and hard straight-line winds across the whole metro. Hail bruises shingles and knocks off the granules that shield them from sun. Wind lifts tabs and breaks the seal strip underneath. A lot of that damage is hard to see from the yard, so we get up on the roof and take photos before we tell you anything.
Heat, cold and ice
Summers run hot, and attics run hotter. Poor airflow cooks shingles from below and cuts years off their life. Winter ice storms add weight and can push water up under the edges. Good attic ventilation and a proper ice and water barrier at the eaves help with both.
The houses we see
Much of the area is single-story ranch homes with asphalt shingles. Some are older houses that already carry a second layer. Others are newer builds. Older roofs can hide soft decking and worn flashing, so we check what's under the shingles before we price the job.
Permits and city rules
Each town sets its own rules for reroofing. Some require a permit and an inspection, some don't, and the details change over time. We check with the city for your address, pull the permit when one is needed and tell you up front if an inspection is part of the schedule.
Gutters and drainage
Heavy spring rain tests gutters fast. Clogged or undersized gutters spill water onto the fascia and down by the foundation. We look at the gutters on every roof job, because a new roof draining into a bad gutter still causes trouble.
